MAMA earrings have a soft shape, breasts of course, and are new members of the MAMA family.

The earrings are designed to cover stretched holes in the earlobes, but work for everyone, of course! The earrings are delivered with smart earring backs that keep the earring in place so it does not tip forward, as well as relieving the weight to avoid stretched holes. Read more about them here.

The first time I created this breast was more than 25 years ago, when I had four children in five years. It was the MAMA ring. During this time, a lot of focus was on breasts and breastfeeding, and I wanted to honour my breasts as a symbol for giving life, including creating a powerful female symbol.

 After a few years, I created the big breast pendant, or the hanging breast, for obvious reasons. Today there are three versions of hanging breasts available, as one size does not fit all.

And, finally, we now have these matching earrings!

At the beginning of 2017, In the beginning of 2017, we were contacted by Malin who had been through treatment for breast cancer. She had removed one breast, and she was waiting for another surgery to remove her second, healthy breast. She wanted to buy a MAMA ring as a symbol for that breast. Please read Malin's story.

I then realized that the breast - the inspiration for the ring I had made more than 25 years earlier as a symbol for life - also takes lives.

That was the start of a collaboration with the Swedish Breast Cancer Association, Bröstcancerförbundet, and today we are proud partners.

When you purchase the MAMA earrings, we donate 100SEK to the Swedish Breast Cancer Association. Together we make a difference.

Every year in Sweden, about 8 000 women and 60 men get diagnosed with breast cancer. Due to fantastic progress within research, 80% survive. It is a serious illness, and it affects not only the person who is sick, but also a partner, children, family, and friends.
